An Integrative Approach

You do not need a clinical diagnosis to see a psychotherapist.

We human beings are made up of an amazingly complex group of systems, all working at the same time to meet our needs. The mental, emotional, physical and energetic parts of us are forever intertwined.
There are many potential challenges in our environment that could cause something to upset one of these systems, and when one is blocked it will naturally have an effect on the others.
It is understandable that we might need an MOT once in a while!
Perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed by something in your life. You have no motivation to even get out of bed in the morning. You keep getting angry. You feel lost and even the smallest decision seems impossible. These are just some of the issues you can bring to therapy.
I practice an integrative approach to therapy which means that I have been trained in multiple ways of working with clients, such as:
-
Person Centred
-
Gestalt
-
CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy)
-
IFS and working with parts
-
Somatic
-
Transactional Analysis.
Working in an integrative way means that I can adapt my way of working to suit you.
People are wonderfully diverse and respond differently to different methods of working.
If you find that you are not getting on with a particular approach I have taken, we can try something else. I can tailor-make each session to suit your unique needs.
Therefore, most crucially, at the heart of therapy is the therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist. I offer a free 15 minute Zoom call so that you can get a sense of what it will be like to work with me.
